[What did you feel when you saw those soldiers? What did the military do during the armed conflict?]
We were so scared of them, because they were very difficult. They killed just anyone. At the time they killed my kids, but no one investigated anything, who they were. Nothing. It was really tough. If they just saw you -- Those kids died so simply, they were so humble, without knowing why. That youth who came in the afternoon when they came… They came to my house in the morning. I gave them food and they slept over at my house in the afternoon. That afternoon, the youth, my nephew, said,
“they killed Monsignor, right, auntie?”
“Yes,” I told him.”
“But he will win in the end,” he said, “Death can't defeat him. He will be Víctorious.”
That’s what the kid told me.
