[What was your life as a boy? What did you do?]
Since I was young, I don’t remember much. I only remember I used to play with my siblings. Since I was young, I stayed at home. I also remember my dad, how he was physically. I barely remember. When we left the house I was about five-and-a-half years old, that’s when they killed my dad, and my sister who was about fifteen. I was also wounded on that same day, with two gunshots, one in each hand. My mom was also shot three times. That was a very sad day.
[Did that happen in your house?]
Yes, it was very close to my house, about two blocks away.
[Do you know why that happened?]
Um, the Guard always did that to— there were always people who liked to point fingers at others, and my dad was organized. He also had a 22, he had a gun. There were always people who would denounce you. Some people, just to look good in front of others, would always point their fingers at someone. There was someone in the Guard who would ask for reports on people. At the time, they didn’t even respect children or the elderly. At the time, I was only a five-year-old boy, and they left my mom and me for dead.
