[Do you remember what that day was like when you came back here?]

Yes, I do. They got people together to see what they thought, to ask them if they wanted to come back or not because the war was still going on here. The people said yes, that they wanted to return. So they organized all that, held meetings, and about a year alter, I'm not sure, they told us we were going to return. To come back, they organized the buses, and the trucks to carry everything we had in Mesa Grande. So the people traveled in buses and our things in trucks. The one sad thing was we thought we would arrive the same day. But no! We suffered a lot putting up with hunger because we arrived after five days. Our feet were swollen and we could no longer take being on the bus. We could barely sleep because the bus only had seats, and the soldiers didn’t want to let us back in.
